| Please Describe the Incident Thoroughly | On November 26th at 5:00am a white semitrailer of JMB TRANSPORT LLC was driving through Beacon street and tried to make the turn in Mulberry street. The semitrailer almost crashed into the parking cars in the street while attempting to make the turn. It was stuck in the corner of Beacon-Mulberry for about 10 minutes realizing that it won’t be able to make the turn without damaging parking cars. The noise it made was atrocious and after a few minutes I woke up to see this giant vehicle right by my window. I took a few photos and captured a video of the event, I also called the police. The truck driver got off the vehicle a few times and walked up and down the street, shouting unclearly possibly in hope to wakeup people to move their parked cars from the corner. The semitrailer details are: USDOT: 3199064, MC: 159485, KYU: 678040. The police arrived within two minutes and ordered the semitrailer driver to back up. After 15 minutes the event was finished. This isn’t a rare event. We have many semitrailers driving on Beacon street on almost a daily basis although the access to the street is forbidden for trucks. Our building was once hit by such truck and a damage estimated in a few thousand dollars was caused to the structure. We request that the city of Chelsea will place more street signs forbidden the access of commercial trucks through Beacon street. In addition, the police should fine these violating drivers. |
