Parklet or Plaza Description

Which type of project are you applying for? Parklet

As part of a Transit Oriented District (Crenshaw/LAX Rail Line), we would like to have Parklets located between 57th and Crenshaw to 54th and Crenshaw (both sides of Crenshaw). The goal is to have a Business corridor transformed into a "CoOperative Pedestrian Business District". The Parklets provide the opportunity for clients and visitors to enjoy the moments they spend shopping or just sitting and conversing in the Crenshaw District.

Acknowledgement of Community Outreach Requirement

I understand that after I submit my initial application but BEFORE I receive approval to move forward, I must begin my community outreach. This includes asking for a letter of support from the local council office, a presentation to the neighborhood council, and letters of support from adjacent property owners, businesses, nearby entities associated with special curb zones (if applicable), and others directly impacted by my project.
