Parklet or Plaza Description
Which type of project are you applying for? | Plaza |
Describe the location and your goals for your Parklet or Plaza. | The proposed project location is the Northwest corner of 8th and San Pedro, located in the LA Fashion District. We want to vacate the redundant right turn lane and create a pedestrian plaza. There is a median adjacent to the lane, with a beautiful tree in the center, that can be connected and offer great shaded seating and ample space for public activation. Introducing a plaza to this particular intersection will create a centerpiece for LA Flower District patrons, nearby residents, and employees. |
