| Please Describe the Incident Thoroughly | day 23 I noticed water in my basement and tried to dry but could not, because it did not stop gushing what I thought was water, but in fact it was sewage that entered my basement without stopping. I kept trying to dry but it was impossible because the main sewer line was totally clogged. So I called the fire department for help, because I didn't know what else to do and knowing it was sewage that was entering my basement. The first employee came and said it was me who would have to call a company to unclog, because it was my responsibility to be inside my basement. The problem continued until Domingo after coming another employee of the city and saying the same thing, that it was my responsibility and that I would have to call a company to unclog the pipes. So I called the company So I called the company that came depopis of two hours and found that it was not in my basement the problem, that the main line of the city that was clogged. On Sunday I called once again to the firefighters who talked to the employee of the company who explained the situation and the firefighters called once again the employee who arrived and found the problem on the main line of the city on the side walk. Then the city employees unclogged the sewer line and my "problem came to an end afterafter several desperate days asking for help that was not free cause I pay my taxes on time. So the company charged me $535.00 |
