| Describe the location and your goals for your Decorative Crosswalk. | Figueroa Street has been identified as a High Injury Network corridor by Los Angeles Vision Zero, a city-wide initiative to eliminate traffic fatalities by 2025. The mixture of commercial properties, Metro bus lines, schools and residential homes connected by this intersection makes this a highly utilized intersection by pedestrians and drivers alike. I recognize that a decorative crosswalk in this location will provide residents with an opportunity to take ownership and beautify an intersection that sees significant local pedestrian traffic. |
