| Please Describe the Incident Thoroughly | My son (Jackson Banks age 4) was playing tag in Washington Park, as he was running his foot went into a broken electrical handhold cover. This lead him to trip and land face first on the cement walkway. On the left side of his face, he scrapped above his left eye, left eye brow, below his left eye, the middle of his nose and the left side of his nose. A message was left on July 13 to Ms. Cheryl Watson about the incident. A phone call back was received on July 14 and she insisted everything would be fixed immediately. However, this was NOT the case. On July 22, nothing had be done to the handhold cover. I the took it upon myself to place an existing orange cone in the park on top of the handhold cover so that no other person would get hurt. As of today, nothing has been done to fix the handhold cover and the orange cone I placed on top of the handhold cover is still there. When I came home, I called Ms. Watson again, this time an associate of hers answered, they informed me to place a claim online. They also stated on the phone that this matter should have already been attended to. |
