The proposed parklet will use 4 metered parking spots on Glendon Avenue in front of Ministry of Coffee, and will create much needed additional outdoor seating for Westwood Village locals, visitors, workers and stakeholders alike. Westwood Village lacks space for pedestrians to congregate. In September, the WVIA hosted PARK(ing) Day at this location and it was a huge success. The local businesses are in full support of transforming these spaces permanently. The the proposed Parklet is located directly next to a public parking lot, the metered 4 spots would not be a major lost in the area.
