| Please Describe the Incident Thoroughly | On June 30th, 2020 at 1:45 PM, I was driving southbound on US-1 headed toward the Tobin Bridge an area that is under construction. There are two lanes only and I was in the right lane with no shoulder. There was a semi truck in the left lane. I hit a huge pothole that was directly in my lane and unavoidable due to the semi next to me and no shoulder on the road. This caused my tire to rupture and begin to lose air pressure. I took the car to Audi of Brookline (where I purchased it) for repair which was to install and balance and new front right tire for $328.52. After I got my car fixed, I went back to the scene to discover several repaired and patched potholes in this stretch of road including where the damage to my car occurred. Included is a picture of the pothole where the damage to my occurred, it has since been filled and repaired, and a copy of my car repair bill, and Lyft receipt for $12.32 for a ride from the car dealership back to my home. Total: $340.84 |
