There are numerous accidents at 8th and Duarte Rd. because the traffic is speeding and the visibility is poor. In addition, on 10/05/25 there was a fatality. A 16 year old girl was killed trying to coss the street at that location. The light at 10th is 1/4 quarter mile from 8th Street and the light at 6th is a similar distance. When cars are speeding, it is difficult to have enough visibility for people to safely exit their driveways. On trash days with dumpsters in the way it is almost impossible.. I will add a picture when the dumpsters are in the road..
