We are long-time Monrovia residents living at 270 N. Canyon Blvd (corner of Canyon and Greystone). When we moved in March 2022, we were notified of a planned traffic-calming project for Canyon Blvd that was postponed due to heavy rain and never completed. Since living here, we have experienced nightly incidents of vehicles driving at extremely high speeds, often ignoring the stop signs at Greystone. This has become a significant safety hazard for the neighborhood and has disrupted our family’s quality of life to the point where we are seriously considering selling our home. Our neighbors share the same concerns and frustrations, underscoring the urgency of reviving and completing this project. I have attached the detailed email we sent to the City for reference.
