Describe your concern |
Hello, I am with LA County Public Works - Traffic Safety and Mobility Division. We recently conducted an analysis for multi-way stop control at the intersection of Shamrock Avenue and Hurstview Avenue. Based on our review, the subject intersection did not meet the County’s Multi-Way Stop Control Criteria or the criteria cited in the 2014 California Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices. However, we have recommended installing a Side Road Left (W2-2L) sign on the east side of Shamrock Avenue south of Hurstview Avenue to enhance motorists’ awareness of the intersection. Can the City of Monrovia please evaluate the need for additional signage for southbound motorists along Shamrock Avenue, north of Hurstview Avenue, within City of Monrovia's jurisdiction? If needed, here is the constituents information who made the request: Dale Rodgers (213-761-9375).
