| Please Describe the Incident Thoroughly | On 2/15/2025. Power Outage occurred on that Sat Afternoon. Heat and elevators down at Chelsea Square Apartments (272 Broadway, Chelsea MA 02150, owned and managed by Beacon Communities at the time) . Only one boiler was back running. Elevator and alarm techs was called and additional potable heaters were procured from other locations. On 2/18, 7 elevators were still down. At 8am on 2/20/25 , back on normal city power, awaiting parts for boilers, etc. . At 5:05 pm 2/20/25, all boilers and pumps are functional and redundant heat source has been restored. Our site team mentioned that It appears the city construction project caused a power loss of a feed leg, this caused power on that leg to drop out as well as any 3 phase power supplied items (elevators) would single phase. Possibly due to city construction project (cut an underground power cable accidentally). |
