An employee has the option to sign-up for building parking at the end of every month for the following month. At sign-up, they are informed of other transportation alternatives and options. If they still wish to park, they complete an application and are given a parking pass. They are then charged $210, pulled directly from their paycheck, for that month. If they carpool, they are offered a discount on parking from the parking garage owners, so they only pay $185 a month instead and get preferred parking close to our elevator. The preferred parking is labeled with "Bird CP" above all spots and those that park there are monitored by the parking attendants to ensure only the carpoolers are allowed there.
