| Please Describe the Incident Thoroughly | I have rental property at 24 Front Street in Chelsea. Below is a summary from my tenant at 24 Front Street Apt. 1. "I was out of town from 2/6 to 2/18/2025. The apartment was in good condition when I left, but on my return, there was a foul sewage odor. There were no leaks or damage upstairs, but downstairs I found standing water in the kitchen area, living room, under kitchen cabinets, around the dog crate, and a soaked living room rug. The sink had brownish-gray sludge, and the floor around the stairs had white stains. Under the sink cabinet was soaked with brown water, and the dishwasher was flooded with brown water at the bottom. The water extended into the living room, soaking the rug and the base of the couch. The kitchen cabinets show new warping and cracking, especially under the sink and towards the living room. Additionally, there's bubbling drywall near the trim." The date of the incident could be any day between 2/6 and 2/18 as my tenant was out of town during that period. The time frame is also unknown. Isaac Smith came to the property on February 18. |
