I am writing to request the installation of a "Keep Clear" marking on the street in front of our building at 800 West Chestnut Ave. Monrovia CA 91016. Our business is located near the Foothill Unity food distribution site, which holds regular food distribution days for those in need. While we fully support the mission and service provided by Foothill Unity, these events have led to significant traffic congestion in our area. On distribution days, vehicles often block our driveway, causing severe traffic disruptions and preventing our employees from accessing the parking lot. This situation has become a recurring issue, making it difficult for our staff to enter and exit the premises during working hours. The congestion not only disrupts daily operations but also poses potential safety concerns for pedestrians and vehicles trying to navigate the area. We kindly request that the City of Monrovia consider marking the street in front of our property with a "Keep Clear" designation to alleviate these issues. The proposed markings would help ensure that our driveway remains accessible, preventing vehicles from blocking access and improving overall traffic flow during these busy events.
