Describe your telecommute program. About 25% of SMC's employees have regular schedules that can take advantage of teleworking once a week. The other 75% of staff are faculty who have varied schedules. Most are adjunct who may teach 1 to 3 classes per week during hours that range from 7am to 10pm. Many of these instructors have their classes online. The rest are full time faculty who have a full load of classes and are more likely to teach at least some of their classes on campus and keep office hours in person, but many can still offer classes online and can stay home that day.
