In the North Shore neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Rivelife is modifying the existing Allegheny Landing Park in coordination with the City of Pittsburgh and many community partners. The proposed project will reconfigure the existing trails and landscaping while embracing its history as the nations’ first riverfront sculpture park. The proposed design revitalization focuses on creating a flexible, accessible and welcoming destination that allows for play, art, events, and green open space. An event stage and pavilion, splash pad, festival street, play areas, art elements, enhanced bikeway and waterfront boardwalk will activate the park and draw people in.
