This annual event is one of the few holiday activities of this scale to specially service LGBTQIA+ Homeless Youth. It affords us the opportunity to provide a unique approach to getting youth off the street, by doing so in a festive environment that provides access to transitional living services, on-site mental health specialists, and other social services for youth experiencing homelessness.

How does this event benefit the West Hollywood community and/or the City? |
The City's LGBTQIA+ Youth will have the opportunity to attend a free holiday dinner & dance where they will receive a warm meal, holiday entertainment, community resources, and access to transitional living as well as other free to low-cost social services specifically designed for young people.

Promotion of the event via the City’s communication channels, Monetary Support. Not all Co-Sponsorships will include monetary support from the City. Please keep in mind, public funds must be used to support the community, must serve a public purpose, and requests will be reviewed in accordance with all applicable laws. The request must explain how this funding would be used to cover direct program costs. Funds are disbursed on a reimbursable basis after the provision of suitable expenditure documentation (e.g., receipts).
