| Please Describe the Incident Thoroughly | Aqualine Utility Inc. was performing utility work recently on the corner of Broadway and Parker Street. On Saturday – August 3, 2024 at approximately 5PM, we received multiple calls that the hot water was off in our building located at 750 Broadway. Upon investigation by Broadway Capital maintenance technician on Saturday, it was determined that the basement was completely flooded with ~3ft of water. The adjacent sidewalk and surrounding street locations to the property were excavated around and not properly covered/ plated by Aqualine Utility on Friday afternoon. This left the areas around the property completely exposed to the elements. The water caused approximately $24,000 in property damage. All three heating and hot water systems were submerged under water and need to be replaced at the property. |
