| Please Describe the Incident Thoroughly | I was walking on the sidewalk across from 29 Franklin Street, Chelsea, where I had parked my car on the street. As I was walking up to my car, I tripped on a sidewalk that appeared level but was actually broken. The grass section was much steeper than it appeared due to the grass, so I did not expect a drastic shift on the sidewalkâs elevation. My ankle had hit the concrete as I was trying to balance myself from falling, I heard an audible crack and could not walk for a full 30 minutes. After being provided some first aid, I struggled greatly to walk. This resulted in a fractured ankle as shown by an xray in urgent care and scraping against my knee. The sidewalk on this street can be a huge danger to other citizens walking along it or crossing the street. |
