Please Describe the Incident Thoroughly On Wednesday 7/10/2024 at 9:10 AM, while the Department of Public Works was conducting road repairs in front of my store, the water pipes burst, flooding the basement of my store. We discovered the flooding immediately and took action, but the issue wasn’t fully addressed until 9:40 AM. Due to the emergency of the event, we were unable to document the scene at the time. The Fire Department conducted an inspection on 7/12/2024 at 9:30 AM. I am very concerned that similar incidents might recur due to the ongoing construction at the front of the store. I am unsure if the electrical boxes, having been exposed to water, will suffer severe damage in the future. Moreover, I am extremely worried about potential leaks during rainy weather because of the cracks in the walls and the floor. I request that the responsible parties take immediate action to prevent future occurrences and provide assistance in addressing the damage already sustained.
