| Please Describe the Incident Thoroughly | Commissioner good morning- My name is Dave Peach, and I am the owner of 307- 311 Broadway. As you know that part of Broadway is having street work. On Friday we had heavy rain from about 7:00 am until 9:00- 9:30.. About 8:30-9:00 we experienced a large leak and several smaller ones coming thru the foundation where the 4" water feed for the fire suppression passes thru the wall, as well as other parts of the foundation. A couple of days previously the construction company had dug out the sidewalk directly on the outside of the foundation wall to make the temporary connections. There is video showing the leak pouring out of the wall where the packing on the 4" line had been compromised as well as other locations along the foundation wall leaking. I hired a mitigation company to empty the basement and to stop the leak. I'm connecting with you to find out where to send the bill and also to discuss waterproofing of this area by the construction company moving forward. (It seems we still have a slow leak of groundwater coming into the building.) I'm including my contact info.
