Please Provide a 1-2 Paragraph Narrative Describing the Design Concept |
Hello!
We are Sabrina Roddy and Freybrianne Ziervogel of Work of Art Muralists, and we are excited about the prospect of working on your project to further beautify the downtown of the Village of Richmond. We are local to the Geneva Lakes area, so as your neighbors we often visit your charming downtown and local businesses, we are also familiar with the nature and wildlife of the area. We are hoping that our familiarity with the area helps us understand and represent the esthetic that you are looking for. We were recently artists featured in Lake Geneva’s Murals in Motion event and would love to bring the same talent, professionalism, and flexibility to Richmond.
While researching the wildlife found at Hackmatack and Glacial Park, we came across many options of plants, animals, and insects that we could focus on, and it became hard to narrow the vision. While we will be providing a plethora of options, we want you to know that we do understand that there are many other paths that we could have chosen. We are open to working on additions or redesign to incorporate different colors, plants, animals, or landscapes, to be able to capture the specific look that you may be going for. See info about each concept submitted below:
•Concept one would feature native flowers and butterflies. In the three examples provided are options for a close up, or a panoramic view of the flowers and butterflies. Either would be a colorful addition to the downtown and a would make a great spot for photo opportunities.
•Concept two features the natural prairies, and wetlands of the Richmond area, capturing the beauty that can be found at both Hackmatack Wildlife Refuge and Glacial Park Conservation Area. The two examples provided also feature wildlife found there as well. Visitors will love to snap a picture with any of these colorful backdrops.
•Concept three includes two different examples of people taking time outdoors to admire all the beauty and color nature has to offer. This concept would feature either the prairie or wetlands of the area. Either option would bring a burst of color to its wall, and would attract attention, especially during grey winter days.
We are thrilled to be considered for this project and look forward to hearing from you soon.
