Social media Newspaper Chelsea public school system , Municipality, Chelsea Community Cable flyers, in person promotion at local events Partnership with community organizations, Visibilty tables, store front window advertisement.
What benefit(s) will this project bring to Chelsea and its residents? How do you expect to engage the community? Juneteenth celebrates freedom in respect to African Americans yet as we celebrate, the focus will be on what freedom stands for in our BIPOC community. Members of the Chelsea community come from so many countries in pursuit of freedom. Therefore, we will celebrate freedom and liberty for all people. Project will promote education, awareness, bring history and information on Afrcan American Culture through performance, music, dance, visibility tables, information and different cultural foods. Unifying community collaboration in partnership with residents, guest, organizations, business, CPD, municipality.

Healthy Neighborhood Initiative, Chelsea Community Connections GreenRoots La Colaborativa TND Lattimer Society Peoples AME Church Senior Center MGH, BIDMC, NSMH, Home Depot All community org will be invited to set up information tables to provide information to guest/community Cary House 400th Anniversary Committee
Acknowledgement of the Chelsea Heritage Celebrations Grant by the CCC is mandatory on all advertisement and promotions. How do you plan to accomplish this? Be specific. Print acknowledgemt on material and advertisement Acknowledge CCC throughout event Hang MCC or CCC banner
How will you measure the success/impact of this project? Provide give away educational material Distribute information on history of Juneteenth Promote diversity through interactive engagement Activitiy tables set up for children to engage and interact
How will the project be modified if the entire amount is not awarded? Be specific. CBC will not be able to provide an impactful, engaging, educational community event on this historical holiday. We will not be able to provide the scope of service, engagement, and information to the large diverse attendees as in the past.
