Plan review notes

Miscellaneous Plan Review Notes The maximum u-factor shall be 0.30., The ice barrier shall consist of not fewer than two layers of underlayment cemented together, or a self-adhering polymer-modified bitumen sheet shall be used in place of normal underlayment and extend from the lowest edges of all roof surfaces to a point not less than 24 inches inside the exterior wall line of the building. On roofs with slope equal to or greater than 8 units vertical in 12 units horizontal, the ice barrier shall also be applied not less than 36 inches measured along the roof slope from the eave edge of the building., Lateral load shall comply with section R507.9.2 of the 2018 International Residential Code., Rail and floor replacement only. Any change to the framing shall require an additional Rough inspection., Stairs shall have a graspable handrail and shall be continuous for the full length of the flight, from a point directly above the top riser of the flight to a point directly above the lowest riser of the flight. Handrail ends shall be returned or shall terminate in newel posts or safety terminals., Provide Structure hold-downs to secure shed., Anchor bolts shall be a minimum 12” from corners and joints in bottom plates and 6’ maximum spacing between bolts., Hot/Cold water pipes and Gas pipe shall be bonded at water heater., The exterior gas pipe is to be painted for corrosion protection, Two (2) ground rods minumum of 6 feet apart or 25 Ohms, Window replacement requires nail fins on all four (4) sides and to be sealed
