There is significant speeding on S Alta Vista, with weekly+ incidents of people speeding and nearly missing other people trying to pull out of their driveways and several squirrels and 2 cats have been hit and killed this year already. I've lived here for over 3 years and it is a constant problem. I've tested a few other driveways and it is very hard to see when cars are coming with street parking, and then when they are speeding it becomes very dangerous. I've almost been hit several times and I'm a very cautious and attentive driver/motorcycle rider. If the speed limit is 25 there shouldn't regularly be dead cats and squirrels outside my patio, and I shouldn't fear for my life when pulling out of my driveway.
