| Describe your idea and how it can help Santa Monica | My goal as a designer and resident of Santa Monica is to build a more cohesive community where everybody has access to the benefits of true collaboration. Because the westside of Los Angeles, and Santa Monica especially, is such a diverse community, the city itself can only benefit from an easy-to-use, universal platform that encourages diverse thinking and problem solving among neighbors. Ultimately, this collaboration not only breeds a true sense of community, but also a familiarity with one's neighbors that can be hard to come by in the fast-paced world we live in today. The main goal of all this is to build a self-sustainable community that will remain strong and unified through whatever challenges it, and its population, faces. |
