Please Describe the Incident Thoroughly On Friday, July 21st 2023 my Toyota Yaris iA was parked on Burma Road in Prattville. There was heavy rain that caused the street where my car was parked to flood due to the clogged drains that the City of Chelsea had not cleared. My vehicle had been flooded that night. I had my vehicle inspected on 07/26/2023 at the Atlantic Toyota In Lynn and was told that the interior had been flooded and I cannot afford the $10,000 that it would cost to make it safe to drive again, and even that is not guaranteed to make it 100% again. I believe I am owed financial compensation due to the fact that the car was parked on a public street and the City had not taken the necessary measures to ensure the streets would not flood as they did. The streets were flooded once again on 07/29/2023 due to the insufficient drainage in the area.
