Good evening Monrovia Public Works team! This is Ryan Lopez, owner of Lord Empanada located at 1540 S. Myrtle Ave. I am requesting a work order to have a "Public Parking" sign installed on the Northeast corner of Myrtle and Pomona Ave. Additionally, I am requesting an arrow beneath the "Public Parking" sign in order to notify and accurately direct patrons that are traveling Northbound on Myrtle to the ample free parking lot that is accessible to them on the Southwest corner of Myrtle and Pomona Ave. I get countless complaints on a daily basis that there is no parking in the surrounding area which deters patrons from not only coming into my business, but also to the Wizard of Bras business next to me. Most, if not all, of the patrons that make these complaints informed us they came Northbound on Myrtle, in which there is no signage directing them to the free parking directly across the street from our building on the Southwest corner of Myrtle and Pomona Ave (see "Northbound Myrtle" attachment for reference). I am requesting the same "Public Parking" sign that is visible to Southbound traffic on the Southwest corner of Myrtle and Pomona Ave (see "Southbound Myrtle" attachment for reference) to be installed on the Northeast corner of Myrtle and Pomona Ave (see "Desired Parking Sign Installation location" attachment for reference) as well as an arrow beneath the sign pointing towards the direction of the public parking lot. Being a small business is an extremely difficult venture, but this additional parking signage will make a large and positive impact on my business as well as for Creative Woman (Wizard of Bras).
