The Equal Rights Amendment is more important now than ever before. We need to get the message out to the community that ERA protects the rights of ALL Americans including the LGBTQ people and women/girls. Having an art show showcasing the work and talent of women and the LGBTQ community will provide an entertaining forum to educate on the issue.

West Hollywood is a top supporter of the ERA and has worked with EQUAL MEANS EQUAL for over a decade to raise awareness and educate the public. Continuing this work and broadening the scope is crucial to having the measure adopted and enforced by the Federal Government.

City Facility Use (if yes, which facility and room, as applicable), Promotion of the event via the City’s communication channels, Fee waivers for ancillary City permits that may be required for the event (e.g., Special event permit, building and safety permit, encroachment permits, etc.), Monetary Support. Not all Co-Sponsorships will include monetary support from the City. Please keep in mind, public funds must be used to support the community, must serve a public purpose, and requests will be reviewed in accordance with all applicable laws. The request must explain how this funding would be used to cover direct program costs. Funds are disbursed on a reimbursable basis after the provision of suitable expenditure documentation (e.g., receipts).
