I would like to report a reoccurring issue with drivers that blocks our driveway with their parked cars. This is an issue on Sundays when Monrovia High School has church sessions on campus and an influx of drivers are using our residential streets for parking. Here are pictures of two different vehicles from back to back weekends from church attendees. They are not being respectful of our neighborhoods driveways and I would like to propose this as an issue for our residents. Can the City help paint the curbs of our driveway red to deter drivers from parking illegally? I have called the cops on several previous drivers when their vehicles block half of our driveway which prevents us from getting in and out. The drivers do receive parking citations as a result. I have also left courtesy notes on the drivers windshield to kindly ask them not to block driveways. However, its not feasible for us to keep calling for enforcement. I am hoping the City can help us resolve this issue by helping paint the tip of our curb red. Our address is 906 W Colorado Blvd, Monrovia, CA 91016.
