El Nido Ave. (south of Hillcrest) has ALWAYS been at risk of drivers SPEEDING up and down El Nido Ave. to access Hillcrest to the north and Foothill to the south. Short cut. Fast. Avoid Violet stop light. Prior to repaving Hillcrest the "NO LEFT TURN" sign has been eliminated from the street. Both the actual street sign and the directive painted on the street ARE GONE. We are back to ground ZERO. Due to El Nido Ave. returning as a speeding short cut there will SOON be a young child hit or injured on the street. Please note that there are numerous small children living on El Nido Ave currently!! There will be an injury or death as a result of El Nido returning to being a "Short Cut".
