Very commonly used North/South, high-traffic, high speed thoroughfare that connects the 210/Duarte Road to Monrovia communities. There are also 2 schools on this street (Monroe and Mayflower), so very heavily used/fast cars during peak hours. There have been 1-2 major accidents in this intersection in the last year.I understand that adding stop signs causes some level of congestion, as cars need to stop and go as they get to their destinations, but Lime Ave placement is a good mid-point between Colorado and Foothill to minimize speeds and provide a safe resident crossing route for the community, especially surrounding the Library and downtown areas..
