This is in regards to the crosswalks at the intersection of N Canyon and Foothill. I use these crosswalks daily. For as long as I have done so (3 years), there has been a serious problem with drivers not looking when turning. I wish I was exaggerating when I say that I have to rush out of the way of a car 50% of the time when crossing. There have even been several times where I have had to dodge two cars while making one crossing. This mostly happens when crossing Foothill, though I have had some issues when crossing Canyon. I feel it is also important to note that I usually walk during the day so there is no reason why I wouldn't be visible. It is very scary and discouraging. Knowing that this is an issue and that I need to be hyper vigilant when crossing this street especially is honestly the only thing that has saved me from not getting hit by a car many times. I was hoping maybe a study or something could be done to make this location safer. There are a lot of children, young families and dog walkers who would appreciate it too. Thank you for your time.
