GMCLA's mission is to create musical experiences that strengthen our role as a leader among lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender (LGBTQ) and performing arts organizations, enrich our member-artists, support LGBT youth, challenge homophobia, and expose new communities to our message of equality. We sing for a future free from homophobia and all other discrimination.

For 44 years GMCLA has represented the LGBTQ community in Los Angeles. We have a long tradition of participating in the annual Pride Parade in West Hollywood.

GMCLA is a multi-year Grant Recipient of the City of West Hollywood. We regularly perform at City events, such as the annual Veteran's Day event, City Council events, and Pride. We will be presenting a free community concert, sponsored in part by an Arts Grant from the City on June 17th.

We would be promoting our free community concert in West Hollywood on June 17 and our upcoming performances of DISNEY PRIDE IN CONCERT at Walt Disney Concert Hall on June 24 & 25. In addition, we will be promoting opportunities for new members to join the Chorus for our next concert season beginning in the Fall of 2023.
