We are allies and advocates meeting the LGBTQIA community where they are to honor, affirm and celebrate them. Hugs are central to our mission.

Our SoCal team has been engaged and supportive of the WeHo community since our first Pride event in 2019. Participating in events has created a strong community tie for us. We are here to serve the LGBTQIA community of WeHo.

Booth Space Activation

We are here for hugs, we provide giveaways and swag to celebrate each identity…buttons, flags, stickers, etc. We help parents who are struggling, individuals who are coming out and those who are estranged from family.

We require at 10 huggers per shift. We do a lot of hugging in front of our booth.

Free Mom Hugs has become a loving presence for the community at Pride Events. Our mission statement sums it up best: “Free Mom Hugs empowers the world to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community through visibility, education, and conversation. And yes, we still give hugs!” . We bring joy and celebration. Because our queer families and friends are dear to us we want to share the love with the community and we do a good job at it.
