APLA Health restores dignity and trust within underserved communities by providing world-class LGBTQ+ empowering healthcare, support services, and HIV specialty care.
Best in Drag Show is the legendary drag extravaganza benefitting our Alliance for Housing and Healing program. It's an over-the top fundraiser that has been running for over 3 decades, raising hundreds of thousands of dollars every year for people living with HIV and homelessness

| Please briefly describe the Organization/Group's connection to LGBTQ Pride |
Pride is part of our mission at APLA Health. Started as AIDS Project Los Angeles as a response to the AIDS/HIV epidemic 40 years ago, we fight for equity through health care for underserved communities, focusing on LGBTQ+. We have been a part of Pride festivals for years, celebrating how far we've come, and also keenly aware of how much work there is still to do. We look forward to WeHo Pride's second year!
Best in Drag Show has been a part of the Pride Parade for years, and this year we also want to include it in the festival. It's a beloved event for many of WeHo's residents who come year after year.

| Please briefly describe the Organization/Group's connection to West Hollywood |
Last year, we were finally able to return to West Hollywood for AIDS Walk Los Angeles, our signature event! We are in the planning stages of this year's Walk in West Hollywood, and will also be opening a new West Hollywood location this year. Our Alliance for Housing and Healing branch has had a West Hollywood location for years.

We'd like to request 2 booths:
For APLA Health, we always strive to make our booths interactive and engaging! We may bring back our "Help Us Knock Out STD's!" carnival game, which has been a huge hit, or we may come up with a new interactive game this year. We'll have information about our services as well, and people will be able to win prizes.
For Best in Drag Show, we will do an "Instant Drag" booth in which attendees can get dressed in just a matter of seconds with over-the-top costumes and foam wigs for a hilarious photo op.
