| Please Describe the Incident Thoroughly | Sunday, 5 February at 9 AM the Chelsea water department water meter in my garage at 5 Jefferson Ave., Chelsea mass failed. This caused a large amount of water to gushing to my walls and soaking all my tools shoes CPRCPR training equipment boxing shipment equipment for my work and many other things. The water started at 9:02 AM and lasted till 1:45 PM. I was away and was not able to stop it earlier it damage my garage door and flooded all my tools in the garage as well as affecting the other part of my townhouse , I know all of this because I have a camera in my garage and can document exactly when it started. Luckily, my brother was able to come and shut the water off. The water department did not show up until 2/9/23 at 8:29 am. Where they were able to talk to my brother make a report and fix the problem. Apparently the water meter they put in failed due to the water pressure coming in from the street being too strong, as well as when it was placed, the threads were crossed and the water meter gave out. I have everything documented and on camera all I am asking for is the replacement of everything destroyed by the water in the fixing of the walls and insulation of my garage so that I do not get mold, it looks to me as though $15,000 in damage has been occurred. the close estimate after talking to several companies on how to fix the walls. I was without water from the fifth to the ninth as well. i was told that the Chelsea water department has on file a complete report for what what happen.
