Speeding has been very dangerous on this street. I was involved a couple years ago with Public Works to do something to help, they voted to stripe the street but it has not made any improvements. There is a high school and elementary school within a couple blocks where students walk to and from on Violet. More than half the street does not have a side walk so many people are walking along the street. There has also been a dark colored SUV the last few month that has been dangerously speeding on Violet and running the stop sign on Lime street.
