...the important of this event is the Celebration of Native American and Indigenous cultures through our artistry and beauty ways of living...LGBTQ PLUS communities are considered essential and sacred components in most Native/Indigenous communities, many LGBTQ PLUS Native artists will be presenting who we are and what we create...this event will be demonstrating the importance sharing & trading, the importance of supporting local artists and ceremonies and of the important setting of examples of empowered Urban Native living...All People,
Young people and Elders need authentic subjects and artistry to be inspired by..VISIBILITY = PARTICIPATION = EMPOWERMENT = VITALITY OF COMMUNITY

..as a founding member of the Red Circle Project, I recall and remember having our Celebration All Life and Creation here in the city of West Hollywood...it was known throughout the Native world and many looked forward to the commercial and social event to return in one way, shape or form...I know the benefits of hosting and co - sponsoring is the opportunity for our city of West Hollywood to exhibit to the World it's mindful and inclusion of Native and Indigenous citizens...it demonstrates West Hollywood's desire to support local Native Artists...events such as this will give the world at large a travel destination, it impacts a more diversified tourist population...

City Facility Use (if yes, which facility and room, as applicable), Promotion of the event via the City’s communication channels, Validated parking at a City Lot (if yes, which City parking lot or parking facility), Fee waivers for ancillary City permits that may be required for the event (e.g., Special event permit, building and safety permit, encroachment permits, etc.), Monetary Support. Not all Co-Sponsorships will include monetary support from the City. Please keep in mind, public funds must be used to support the community, must serve a public purpose, and requests will be reviewed in accordance with all applicable laws. The request must explain how this funding would be used to cover direct program costs. Funds are disbursed on a reimbursable basis after the provision of suitable expenditure documentation (e.g., receipts).
