Many cars speed up or down the street between the Huntington Drive light and the Central Ave stop sign, at 20-30 miles over the speed limit, especially near Cherry Avenue, where cars speeding south, will pass on the right of cars who are trying to trying to make a left turn onto Cherry, often almost hitting parked cars (there have already been two such accidents in the past 2 years). Also because many house on this section of the street have high rounded curbs, we cannot quickly pull into our driveway sand both I and my neighbors are often almost rear-ended by cars who are speeding down the street and fail to slow down, despite our use of turn signals.
