The National Trans Visibility March is a national organization focused on increasing the visibility and empowerment of trans and non-binary individuals. This is the first year, the National Trans March has been on the west coast. The City of West Hollywood sponsored individuals to come to the first march in Washington, DC. This event will raise the visibility of West Hollywood among the trans and non-binary community.

City Facility Use (if yes, which facility and room, as applicable, Promotion of the event via the City’s communication channels), Fee waivers for ancillary City permits that may be required for the event (e.g., Special event permit, building and safety permit, encroachment permits, etc.), Monetary Support. Not all Co-Sponsorships will include monetary support from the City. Please keep in mind, public funds must be used to support the community, must serve a public purpose, and requests will be reviewed in accordance with all applicable laws. The request must explain how this funding would be used to cover direct program costs. Funds are disbursed on a reimbursable basis after the provision of suitable expenditure documentation (e.g., receipts).
