TransGiving 2022 will mark 25 years of Unique Woman's Coalition's efforts to provide a safe and affirming community space the Los Angeles TGI community and our allies to celebrate the holidays. For many in our community, the holidays are often a source of distress, and they frequently spend the holidays in isolation due to family rejection ad social exclusion. Central to Unique Woman's Coalition's vision is a commitment to supporting the mental and emotional well-being of TGI people living in our neighborhood and cities around us by providing a consistent presence and opportunity for TGI people and their allies to seek safety and community. This donation will send a message that West Hollywood is a City of inclusion and it will ensure that this tradition continues to provide for TGI communities during the Thanksgiving Holiday and help us celebrate 25 incredible years of providing safe and affirming services and spaces for Black Trans constituents.

This event will benefit West Hollywood in the following:
1. Supporting this event would show that the City of West Hollywood is intentional with creating and supporting all inclusive spaces.
2. Supporting this event would encourage members of the Trans & Non Binary community to attend and be in a safe and affirming space.
3. Developing and maintaining a partnership with the oldest Trans-led group in Southern California which is also Black-led says the City of West Hollywood is intentional in supporting Black Trans leadership and their efforts for social change.
