| Please Describe the Incident Thoroughly | the city recently installed a crosswalk in front of my house. they removed two of the five pylons that were protecting the front of my house. these were installed to protect the house against people coming down the Beacon Street off ramp and slamming into the house like so many over the years. when the work was completed, i realized they did not put back the pylons they removed and contacted Mr. Bert Taverna of the Department of Public Works. i complained that they now have taken away my protection against drivers running into my home. He said they would look into replacing them in the spring time where as it was to cold to dig. a short time later a person came of the highway ramp, lost control and slammed into the front of my house knocking down fences and granite posts. They were able to get away leaving me with battered property. I made a police report and went as far as having the police check any cameras in the area, only to find out there isn't any (there should be, it's a dangerous intersection). and asked |
