The principal has worked with WEHO pride in 2016, 2017, and 2019. Staffing, volunteering, and helping direct sub-communities to Pride equity.

Hoping to build an inclusive midday/later afternoon event that invites a range of stakeholders to discuss how to build a more inclusive Pride, using a historical lens on the creation of the initial Pride.

We would get a venue, food/catering, and panelist. Coordinate marketing + secure attendees with takeaways that continue the conversations.

Theres a need for BIPOC communities to be included in the PRIDE events, beyond partying. There is a need to have space to speak, be heard, and that is created to facilitate more broadly open communication.
