Mission of CLEA is ending prejudice against LGBTQ+ people and other disadvantaged communities; and providing practical and emotional support for LGBTQ+ people through scholarships, career preparation, internships, networking, job placement, and career advancement within City government.

West Hollywood is the epicenter of the residences of CLEA's membership, which includes a number of West Hollywood Commissioners and WeHo-local volunteers.
