We strive to elevate the LGBTQIA+ community through our work because we value representation. Visibility can open people's minds and encourage change in our society. We want our work to inspire the LGBTQIA+ community to be who they are and to encourage allies to stand in the gap for the community we hold dear.

Free Mom Hugs So Cal Chapter participated it’s first Pride event at LA Pride in West Hollywood. It was the place where we established our presence in Southern California, our beginning. Since the pandemic we made sure to connect and celebrate the many lgbtq residents in Weho by doing caravans throughout the city during pride, on Harvey Milk Day, Coming Out Day and Valentine’s Day. We worked with local organization to donate food ti disperse to the needy.

Option 1: Activate a designated space in the footprint of a WeHo Pride event held in the vicinity of West Hollywood Park and San Vicente Blvd. during the weekend of June 3-5, 2022

We are here to celebrate, provide information on resources, to be a loving presence and give hugs to show we care. As tokens of our love, we give visitors to our booth items that sel-identify, buttons, flags, bracelets, and notes of encouragement. We also bring masks, sunscreen and water.
