The West Hollywood Project and the Institute for Public Strategies are contracted with the LA County Department of Public Health, Substance Abuse Prevention and Control to reduce alcohol and drug related harms in the community

For the past several years, The West Hollywood Project, along with other community partners have hosted #SIZZLE, an alcohol free venue at Pride. As the new festival develops, we would like to continue to provide that space.

The West Hollywood Project and the Institute for Public Strategies have worked within the community for the past several years to address and reduce alcohol and drug related harms in the community. The WHP and IPS have hosted #SIZZLE and #BOOM! to help provide a safe, alcohol and drug free celebration for the community during Pride and on New Years Eve.

Option 1: Activate a designated space in the footprint of a WeHo Pride event held in the vicinity of West Hollywood Park and San Vicente Blvd. during the weekend of June 3-5, 2022

We are requesting a 10X10 space to provide a dedicated sober space, hopefully in an area with similar organizations to promote an alcohol and drug free celebration.
