Please briefly describe your organization/group and its mission or purpose: Embracing the challenge of the theme ‘With Liberty, Diversity, Inclusion and Progress for All’, we hope to provide a queerdo look at the hypocrisy that exists still within ecclesiastical institutions and the possibilities that can surface when queer/tgi/BIPOC people take control of their communal gatherings and rituals. The Church of Trans Love (TCTL) presents a music- theatre performance of a ‘new diverse, inclusive and progressive work of the people’ by B. Lindsey Deaton.

Please briefly describe the Organization/Group's connection to LGBTQ Pride This project received funding through the City of West Hollywood's LGBTQ Pride Arts Festival and was written by Lindsey Deaton, a Commissioner with the City of West Hollywood's Arts and Cultural Affairs Commission and is being produced by Drian Juarez, a founding member of the City of West Hollywood Transgender Advisory Board and a Board Member with more than a decade of service.

WeHo Pride Integration

In what way is your organization/group seeking to integrate with WeHo Pride? Option 1: Activate a designated space in the footprint of a WeHo Pride event held in the vicinity of West Hollywood Park and San Vicente Blvd. during the weekend of June 3-5, 2022

Option 1 - Space within WeHo Pride Footprint

Please describe you proposed programming/activity within the WeHo Pride footprint: Perform on the Main Stage Sunday June 5 at 2 pm after the conclusion of the Pride Parade/March and before the stage is used for the evenings shows.
Will your organization/group be requesting supplemental funding from the City for programming and activities as a part of your footprint in WeHo Pride? No

Additional Information

If there is any additional information you would like to share, please use the below space: It will be a 60 minute program with 15 total performers. Audio needs: 2 mics on stands for MC's, readers and soloists on booms or straight stands, behind a podium is ok or we can use music stands. Sound reinforcement for small vocal ensemble (choral mics), input for electric keyboard. Onstage monitors The most folx on stage at one time would be 15 people. Here is a checklist of our needs: Screen for lyrics/images Need a tech person for sound/lights/projection Environment coordinator- decorations Space inviting?, Is the lighting good?, projected images or, Audio good? Everybody heard? Seen?
