Please briefly describe your organization/group and its mission or purpose: We are LA’s leading organization for LGBTQ+ youth in K-12 schools. As the Los Angeles chapter of GLSEN, a national organization providing research, advocacy and programming serving LGBTQ+ youth, we are here to make every K-12 school in Los Angeles County safe, inclusive and affirming. We serve students and educators in public, private, charter and parochial schools in Los Angeles County, across 88 cities and 78 school districts.

Please briefly describe the Organization/Group's connection to LGBTQ Pride Since our chapter's inception 5 years ago, we have been active and involved in our local pride events all around LA County, from SFV to Long Beach. We've participated and had a booth at the previous LA pride events in West Hollywood prior to the pandemic & hope to continue and establish a new relationship and be a part of the inaugural WeHo Pride.
Please briefly describe the Organization/Group's connection to West Hollywood GLSEN LA represents the entirety of Los Angeles County. While we are currently more prominent in the Valley and East LA, we hope to establish a larger role in the West Hollywood community.

WeHo Pride Integration

In what way is your organization/group seeking to integrate with WeHo Pride? Option 1: Activate a designated space in the footprint of a WeHo Pride event held in the vicinity of West Hollywood Park and San Vicente Blvd. during the weekend of June 3-5, 2022

Option 1 - Space within WeHo Pride Footprint

Please describe you proposed programming/activity within the WeHo Pride footprint: 10x10 booth to distribute materials and swag. Our booth will have a IG Frame photo for photos and a "Know your Rights" game with prizes.
Will your organization/group be requesting supplemental funding from the City for programming and activities as a part of your footprint in WeHo Pride? No
